Engine cooling is a vital function which must perform flawlessly for both the safety of the aircraft and if the aircraft is to be able to perform to specification, often under circumstances more demanding than originally intended.

Adequate cooling, particularly oil cooling, to specification (or better) is the insurance policy for the protection of the investment you have made in your rebuilt engine.

Replicore has researched the material specifications and the construction methods of a range of warbirds radiator and oil cooler cores of the cartridge or drum type. I am now able to supply cores to original specification or to sample for a wide range of aircraft.

In stock I keep tube for making oil cooler cores of both small and large hexagon pattern oil coolers for American aircraft (eg Curtiss Hawks, Mustang, Harvard etc), and for many British aircraft (eg Spitfire, Hurricane, etc).

I also have on stock hexagonal tube for radiator cores made by SERCK for British aircraft such as the Hurricane, and round tube in the diameters correct for Curtiss Hawks radiators and oil coolers.

The tube specifications of your radiator may be different to those above. No problem. The connections I have with the company able to make this type of thin-wall tube allow me to have the size of tube required especially made at a cost very little above my stock tube.
